Neither is randomly having a legendary engram drop on an earth patrol mission while killing a level 4 shank with my 14 warlock...only to have it turn into an exotic thunderlord but it happened. Get over yourself and your definition of earning. I earned those strange coins doing harder stuff than a kill all patrol....Still have the thunderlord and have also had it drop on level 12 phogoth strike.

Hmm.. After rereading my post and then rereading it again, I noticed how I never stated my thoughts on what is considered earning an Exotic. Now that I think of it, your post had nothing to do with mine. I think you need to dial it back a few notches, bud.
