Yes. The real reason that Destiny is not liked is the prices. All three listed games are free to play with free updates. Destiny has about the same content as a free to play but costs $60, which is ridiculuous. It's "updates" cost $20 bucks, and you are locked out of important weekly strikes if you don't buy it.

And that's one of the major issues that people have. It's also the entire culture developed around the games I used as examples. It's that kind of devotion to the game and the Community by the Devs, the communication, and how important they view the feedback from the community that separates these games from the Destiny/ActiBungie debacle that we're suffering through now.
