I think the far more compelling similarities lie between the massive symbol on the floor of that same room and the symbol on Eris' ship and scattered around the house of Winter's territory. The circle with the four outstretched arms. They're practically the same symbols. The symbol on the Universal remote is all over cabal buildings in PvP and PvE and there are similarities between the Mythoclast and structures in the vault. There's also the Pocket Infinity symbol plastered all over Rasputin's bunker. I think the only secret there is that Bungie loves to make everything seem interconnected. Just look at the Thorn/Bad Juju symbols and the dark below DLC. The 'mark of the devourer' is everywhere and we still don't know what that is.

I wonder if it's because the game we have is just a shell of the game it was supposed to be. It makes perfect sense to see elements/structures/symbols throughout the game that would otherwise have made perfect sense within the original story of Destiny that has been ripped from the game we know today.

I wouldn't doubt it if they are just too lazy to make new symbols. much easier to just reuse snippets of the game in other parts of the game. it would take forever to create new symbols for each respective area in the game that has said symbols.

True. In that case its a bummer that they didn't put in half as much effort as say Bethesda would.

Ya it looks like that. Then when you look further theres nothing. That urks me alot, really isn't any secrets that unlocks new things, or key to unlock hidden areas even though tge guns say there is. I enjoy playing, but they gutted this game.
