The original Vanquisher (before the updated vendor items) was MUCH better (it had a much better impact rating.) In fact all auto rifles did, I still have my Shadow Price and Grim Citizen as well, but the Vanquisher was my first legendary I ever bought, and will always keep it.

I have two Vanquisher VIII pre-DLC and 1 after the DLC and they have the SAME EXACT IMPACT. So I know most ARs have awful impact after the DLC release but the V8 still has the same stats by default
