Ice Breaker does a lot more damage than Golden Gun.
If I use my Heavy Machine Gun, it takes only 10 shots out of 100 to deal the equivalent damage of a GG. By using my heavy instead of a super, I'm able to deal 10,000+ damage to Atheon.
Can't tell if b8, or OP's actually not-all-there.

You used to be able to push atheon off before he even walked down the stairs with solar grenades. Bungie finally put in bumpers to stop this. One warlock could solo atheon in seconds. YouTube it, quite funny haha

I've heard of it often, but cheating just takes away the meaning of beating Atheon.

Yeah especially since he is easy. Just blast him with heavy machine guns and he dies in two teleports on hard mode
