Don't worry, I'm down to playing once every few weeks. Of course many of us are getting burnt out, and that's precisely why I shared the article.
There are a lot of folks on here who are feeling it too, but might not be able to put it all into words, and Kirk Hamilton summed it up pretty well, I think.

I agree with that article I mean if you have played Destiny since launch and have 3 level 32's and every exotic you want it must be tough repeating pointless content and knowing new content won't drop until April/May.

My characters are all at 31, but I have no desire to grind Crota until I have 32's. I bailed on December 15 after beating Crota for the first time. I knew there was nothing left in the game that I hadn't seen, and wasn't interested on grinding what is essentially a hallway because Bungie made radiant materials available only through the raid. I was in one of the first 750 some-odd fireteam to beat Crota, and we did it legit, and then I almost immediately stopped caring. My fireteam originally went in at refresh, and we were actually ahead of IGN and streamer house for a while, but we got tired, mentally and physically and threw in the towel. That was exhausting, but also one of the coolest things I've ever done in a videogame, going in blind. Grinding it will slowly drain away the magic it had, and I can't stomach that. I want to see what's in HoW, but don't want to grind CE to be able to do, and that's my main concern. I can have new gaming experiences and spend time with friends instead.

I want to do that with HoW, for the 1st 2 raids I've relied on Youtube vids and streamers to give good strategies. Going in blind sounds way more fun, but frustrating lol

We made it all the way to Crota, and we came up with the hide in the hallway strategy that eventually worked for others. Being surprised by the various stages of the raid and puzzling it out on our own was so rewarding. But we didn't have someone farming their way to 31, so we weren't able to take down Crota before Enrage. So much -blam!-ing fun though.
