I think the article is great. It sums up everything I've felt for probably a solid month or more. I think it tries to go into it but not deep enough though. The fundamental problem with this game is that it is solely focused around gear (weapons included). It's not focused on the story, fun or raid content, it's focused on gear (the carrot). Once you get the carrot, the experience is over. As opposed to the carrot augmenting the experience. It's probably too late to get the toothpaste back into the container, but I believe the only way to fix the overall issues with this game is to first shift the focus of the game back to where it should have been in the first place, everything but the gear. This way players will want to play for the pure enjoyment of playing. Not for the purpose of getting the carrot.
