Game journalists are important for the development and legitamization of the industry, just as movie critics were important to the film industry.
You're welcome to give as few -blam!-s as you'd like, but pretending that game journalism isn't a thing benefits no one.

Games journalism is a think. He wasn't saying it wasn't. He was saying Kotaku aren't journalists, which they aren't. Gawker and all its sites are scum run by scum. They're special interest bloggers that like to think they're journalists. They're rock bottom and incredibly biased when they want to be.

For every silly Pokemon theory, there's also an piece about some facet of the gaming industry, like how Steam's Greenlight program isn't working as intending and how that's affecting developers and consumers. You can have it both ways, you know. I also had no idea what he meant. I try to use words to get my ideas across, so vitriol, a link and some >'s are meaningless to me. Thanks for interpreting.
