Hey, where'd you get that soapbox? Get down from there. I think you're right, in a way. But it's not necessarily that new gamers have been trained to want addictive experiences, but more so that Destiny is designed to be incredibly addictive. It's structured to keep us playing. By design.

  • Yeah, man. It's a shame the structure of the game encourages grinding to the extent that it does. Once the grind wears thin, the game doesn't offer any novel unstructured activities or modifiers to keep just playing the base game (shooting things and space magic) fun. I do like cheese though. Actual cheese.
