I completely agree. I was the game's biggest advocate among my friends and I find myself slowly stepping away. That's not to say it wasn't fun or even that I don't enjoy it now...I just don't enjoy it as much. For as much as I support the idea of communication, I feel like Bungie's method is (for the most part) failing at it. If they actually communicated better at the bugs they're fixing and additions that are actually coming (even if they are down the road), I think a lot of people would feel good about it. But having the updates be filled with anecdotes, cryptarch jokes, and uninformative Q&A....it just leaves the community feeling soured. Rather, they should be knocking out the issues that are well known and even documented in video by their players. This game could be mind-blowing...but it's just a fun romp at the moment. It saddens me that the issue has become such that entire articles are written about the game's short-comings and mishandling. People wonder why so many cheese strikes and raids...it's because people have gotten tired of grinding through but they still want to play with their friends and not be hassled by the bugs that can totally screw your team over. The rng does nothing but mock the inner-collector in those of us with that personality and even their fix on CE doesn't really work; I received 5 pairs of gloves before I got 1 pair of boots...it was supposed to give you something you didn't have (and I would've been fine even if it just increased chances everytime until you got it...but 5:1 is not good for something that was supposed to be fixed). The idea of Xur is fantastic, but that man should be traveling and have something truly exotic. Why doesn't the game give you exotics you don't already have via rng but Xur have items that are completely unique to him? I feel like I could go on, but I don't want to make this a rant. In truth, I really like the article but I am frustrated just as many others are. I think it's a sign of a good game when people just want more....but more also means the stuff we have should be fixed rather than tweaking things that don't need tweaked.
