Ghorn drops are BS
before reading this im tired of people saying about they can check my stats and see how long ive played and stuff... first of all realize i have already posted on a few peoples comments of how i have two accounts and that this is my second one because i have gotten my first one band a few months after the game came out. i have played beta and didnt get the game till the 4th week it was out. i have over 500 hrs played on my primary account
who else has put in at least 300hrs, have done hard vog way to many times to remember, done crota hard and normal on all characters you have, done nightfalls and weeklies on all of your characters, played strike playlist out of style, and last but not least played crucible and have never gotten a Ghorn?
i am one of these people and i think that this is total BS. just yesterday i decided to get on destiny and do hard VOG and when we got to atheon and beat him one person got the P&T, one person got a Ghorn, and last but not least one person got Vex mythoclast and Ghorn from killing atheon at one time. when he got both of those weapons he said "lol my 5th Ghorn and my 6th Vex." I don't know about all of you but i think that this "RNG" ends up getting heavily weighted for some people towards guns that others really badly want and can never get and might never get because they are like i have put in 500+ hrs into this game and not even got a Ghorn which some people get 1 every week
with all of the people saying the Ghorn is not so good that they would rather have another exotic in place of it. good for you.
but sadly enough for people like me that cant get it most of the people of the forums for crota hard raid say that they wont take you unless you have Ghorn.

People that have a Ghorn find endless more, and people who haven't had the luck to find one, like me, never find one no matter what we do.

If anyone remembers how long it took to run scholomance in classic then you know why ELEVEN years later this still haunts me. I wish you the best RNG luck so in time you won't have to think back to this moment and weep.

I have 3 of them: 1 from beating Atheon on normal 1 from soloing the first chest of CE on week1 (sorry about this one) 1 just yesterday from Atheon on hard That said I hope Xur sells it as soon as possible. Half of the forum is just about Gjallarhorn now. I know there will be a week of crying from the people that feel special for having it but afterwards everybody will move on.

I bet I have more clears on VOG and Crota than the OP (very close to 100 now) and a Grimoire of 2650.. Hundreds of hours played and I'm the ONLY guy in my crew without a Ballerhorn! Not many people play as much as I do with the shit luck I have. My account is linked if anyone has higher Grimoire and no Ghorn please post so I can feel better LOL Also I have over 250 strike completions and never saw an exotic drop!

Stop being so focused on the weapon mentioned and talk more about the problem. It's the net people, and some use it to vent. So stop being keyboard warriors and let the guy vent.

Dude I've never got g'horn, and to be honest you don't NEED it, if guys won't let you into raid if you don't have it then their depending on it too much or they want to speed run it which most people are incapable of doing anyway. I've run the raid a few times on hard beat Crota a couple times in hard. Not one person in the fireteam used g'horn as we were using different weapons in the primary slots. ( if you use suros or red death in hard raid Crota it replenishes your health which is really useful in Crota raid )

2 RepliesGhorn isn't even that great. It's ok for PVE but it sucks for PVP. Truth is 100 times better. It tracks aggressively and detonates on proximity. You can't get away from Truth.

It's Random, bungie can't help you get ghorn. No matter how many times you post things like this it won't help you get it. You just gotta keep grinding like everyone else. I mean honestly what do you think this is gonna do? "Oh sorry here is ghorn, check you mail" -Bungie- (not gonna happen)
