I can't fire that fast, but I do pull the trigger faster than the alloted speed.

The gun is already limited at its fire rate, so you can't go any faster than the gun permits. Even still, it is my all time favorite weapon the game. Icebreaker and gjallahorn are great, but I truly love the MIDA. Easy headshot machine.
