If you're tired of people killing everything in strikes try this!
If you're like me and you rush past everything, but there's that 1 guy lagging behind killing stuff then help a guardian out. Get to the checkpoint and then kill yourself. More than likely you'll be the only guardian at that checkpoint when you are playing with these slow unhelpful people so it will just wipe the group and respawn everyone at the checkpoint you just died at. Easy way to tell if you're the only one at a check point is to just look at your radar. If you don't see any green on it then you're the only one in that checkpoint. So if you wanna be the boss and set the pace of the strike then give this a try!!!! Works well for me

This is exactly what i do. Hilarious when they run back to kill them i just kill my self again to bring them back.

CHEESE: If you're running through the Winter's Run strike and you team is lagging behind, jump off the cliff as soon as you get out of the cave. When you respawn, the small amount of enemies you fight before you turn the Ghost on the door will be despawned. Not a huge exploit, but it'll cut two or three minutes out.

If someone does that to me I either run back to fight enemies or I hide and don't help with the boss. :)

Sometimes I rush. Sometimes I chill. It depends on what the other two people want to do. I'm not going to force two other people to play the way I want. That's rude.

I've done it, there's a difference between killing everything on the strike and staying in the Rocketyard farming. I usually skip pointless mobs but if someone wants to kill everything while running through, I stick with them, no problem. If they're deliberately screwing up my strike, I screw up their farming for a while, then move on. Same goes for people who run past something that needs to be killed for progression, I will quit and make you run back. Play the damn strike people, it's easier on everyone.

I do this all the time with my friend if it's just me and him and some nub is lagging way to far back we just wipe.

I do this only at the first checkpoint of Rocket McDickface strike only because is seems like people have such troubles getting through there.

You're entitled to your own play style... Here's a method you can start using. Run strikes with your friends, then you can do all the seven minute, and non bounty strikes all you want.

5 RepliesMaybe they pop'd a consumable to make a little extra glimmer for an upgrade. Maybe they are leveling up a gear, or a weapon with telemetry. Maybe they are enjoying the game their way by clearing mobs. Maybe try not being such a self-centered and self-involved bitch about it.
