Should Guardians Have Permanent Melee Weapons?!!?
*****Bungie, read this poll!
Do you guys think permanent melee weapons would be a good idea. I personally think,"Yeah sure, why not", but I know people who think that would be the worst idea. I mean wouldn't it be cool if I came in with like a Sword of Crota!! Or WREAKED by someone with the Relic Shield!! Maybe it should be a gamemode or something... Whats your thoughts?

Maybe like hunter can carry a sword? You could make it a heavy or make it so it recharges after you unequip it?

1 ReplyI think they should make a rumble map set in the colloseum in Rome and the only weapons you can use are swords of crota and relic shields. And it's just like a pvp arena.

1 ReplyIt would bring so much more to the game. We could have things like: Light Spears! You could swing it like a melee weapon but also throw it at an enemy. You can then pick it up out of there body or have a 15 second timer for it to come back. Exotics could be things like Thor's hammer! Arc damage weapon with a perk that allows it to be thrown but each kill with the throw causes instant respawn. Kabr's knuckles could allow you to double melee using your left and right triggers for left and right! Imagine guardian boxing! There's so much That could be done with this!

2 RepliesI'd love a permanent sword for my Titan, but the thing would need to be nerfed all to hell if it was going to become a viable weapon we could own. As it stands now, it's way, [i]way[/i] too OP to become part of our arsenal.

1 ReplyI want weapons with bayonets to be used like that. (Red death, plan C and Monte Carlo) Even if it reduced range it would increase melee a bit (take them down to half armor.)

1 ReplyI think melee weapons would be awesome, nothing as powerful as the relics but definitely something. It would mix up crucible a little bit and would be great when you are running low on ammo and you don't want to waist what you have on little guys like Dreggs and Thralls.

1 ReplyWell I did try it once, went to the shop with a kitchen knife, some and the customer servant screamed at me for having a knife, i said I was a guardian, we should have permanent melee weapons. Police show up, i throw my knife at his head and it pops back onto my hand, i crouch behind a desk and go invisable, i run away. Permanent melee weapons are bad idea.

4 RepliesI would like it and getting a sword exotic would be a wayyyyyy better raid weapon than nechrochasam. It would make low level pve alot of fun, but it would have to be a one hit kill in pvp which would of course not be popular
