Most painful thing you have ever felt?
What is the most painful thing that has happened to you physically?

1) once stepped on an ear ring in a pool, the entire needle part was deep in my foot. 2) kicked in the balls 3) fell down steps and my head had a huge impact with the floor.

I often get lower bowel Cramps, that are so severe as to force me into the foetal position, Often followed by explosive Diarrhoea. I do believe it is caused by IBS.

6 RepliesHad 4 of my fingers slowly being crunched till they broke in the hinge of an industrial door (the back part). If anyone wasn't cringing after that, yes, the door actually fully closed with my fingers still inside it.

Foot surgery. The after pain is terrible especially without a nerve block. (Worst decision I made) On a scale of 1-10 in pain I was at a 9. [spoiler]the other foot I said yes to the nerve block so much better [/spoiler]

Sliced the palm of my right hand wide open, went to have stitches. Got 4 injections in the back of my hand and gas so I couldn't feel the stitches, but I felt that needle going through centimetres of my skin every time. The most painful although not the worst injury.

2 RepliesDon't know, to be honest. I've been tased, cut, burnt, had stitches in my head when I was a kid from a nasty gash, but none of that means much now. Pain is something that I can't really remember too well after it passes, my memories tend to dull physical sensations out.

Emotionally: Recently losing My best friend, and girlfriend a while after getting put in foster care. Physically: fractured collerbone. Ain't life grand.

I had MRSA in my foot once. The worst part was the "unpacking", which is where they pull the absorbent padding out of the infected area.

Faecal impaction. Couldn't go to the toilet for two weeks. When it finally came out I almost went into shock (literally)

I had a kidney stone once. Let me describe it for you (don't read if you don't like pain): [spoiler]I let out a loud groan as I felt pain in my side. I felt I had to go to the bathroom but saw an odd color is the water when I was done. I went to the hospital in immense pain, I had heard it feels like childbirth. I always felt I had to pee, even though when I tried to I could not. Throughout my time at the hospital i did slowly begin to feel better. In the end they said there is evidence that I could have had a kidney stone, but none that I still had it, so I went home. From time to time I have a similar feeling and thing "oh no, please NO!" Luckily I don't believe that after that I have gotten another one.[/spoiler]
