1 ReplyI'm not sure who Dr Shin is, but it can be assumed that the system thought that the player is Dr Shin because of the Ghost's hacking of the system. If you watch the machine as your Ghost hacks it, you can see a handprint appear on the mechanism, meaning that it had to use data already on the system to get in, thus it thinks you're Dr Shin.

I think Doctor Shim was a scientist working with a group of researchers in the Archive within the Ishtar Sink. They studied the Vex, and discovered that they had the ability to run various advanced simulations at once based on deduction and logic, causing the group to think they were all part of the simulation (as the Vex unit they were studying had predicted).
