The vote percentages haven't changed since the vote started. Meaning the equal amount of people lieing and not lieing has been consistent since this thread started.
What's funny is bungie has the answer to this debacle. They can see how many kills are being gotten across the board per weapon and weapon type I'm sure.

in light of the liars, i created a clan for top snipers. We aren't accepting anyone whos primary special isn't a sniper. Essentially its snipers looking for other snipers.

These polls are rarely ever reliable... I play crucible almost everyday & its slowly moving to all fusion rifles and primaries getting used far less. No way its that many snipers unless u play pve which allow for slow gameplay fitting for a sniper Heck there are supposed to be more shotguns than snipers since some primaries are great at many ranges replacing a sniper along with mobility

In crucible i only ran shotty. There's no need for anything else including powerful AF fusion rifles. In pve i use fusion and sniper the most but as of late i've gotten a hot Secret Handshake shotty and been using it in pve, works awesome and i always told myself that there's no reason to run a shotgun in pve... wrong.

1 ReplyWell big maps I use a sniper and small maps I use a shotgun. Since most of the rotations are small maps I end up shotguning it up more.

I almost never use my special weapon. I might pull it out once every 10-15 matches. My k/d is a tiny bit over 1.5. If I was better with a sniper I might use it more but I don't like getting in shotgun range as a squishy Hunter with no overshield abilities and fusion rifles are just too scrubtastic for me to handle.

I typically go Hawkmoon primary and a sniper (LDR or Efrideet's Spear) secondary. Though sometimes on the smaller, more compact maps I might sometimes slip that sniper out and run a praetorian foil/found verdict.

Shotgun. I'm being honest when I say I'd use a sniper if people didn't rush at me with a shotgun and I didn't suck at hitting moving targets lol

I'm really a fusion scrub, but I've got a pretty sweet 2 to the Morgue, so I've been using that lately. Full auto, return to sender, perfect balance. 6 in the mag. Slow rate of fire, but that's how full auto shotties should be IMO.
