Ignorant comment. Self res has the added benefit of grenade spam and the ability to generate orbs. Even without self res it's a very useful tool to help the team recharge their supers. I typically use it to kill thralls at Crota to help my team out as its way more useful than Voidwalker. I agree its useless in PvP though.
