Justify cheesing crota.
If you cheese crota, here are my assumptions of you.
1. It's too hard for you.
2. You're lazy.
3. You have never learned to do it the right way.
4. You think there's no problem with it.
5. You think it's cool.
6. You think it's bungie's fault.
7. You did it once and think bungie owes you a level 32 character.
8. "I don't have time" when you've played 700+ hours.
When the hard raid comes out and you're walking around clueless, I will laugh in your face and boot anyone who asks how to kill crota legit.
Edit: seems like everyone claims they can't find 5 other people. Not a valid reason. My friend did it solo and I did it with only one other person in 3 minutes. So try something else.
Edit 2: So, it comes down to this. People either agree with me or they hate me because they can't do it legit. I love these people! Haha.

1 ReplyYou will never get any respect for doing it (legit). Nobody in the world cares that you are good at this game. People who cheese don't really care what you think about them. You are just trying to brag about something almost everyone in the game has accomplished. You are not special and you never will be. Also, the hard raid will have different aspects so you are also not prepared for it.

I don't care if people cheese it. I prefer legit, it can be faster if people just stick to a simple plan. I have solo'd crota legit, beaten him 3 times legit with a team, and cheesed the other times. When with a random squad (most times) I usually say "let's give it a try" and either they say sure or hell no let's cheese, either way I go with the flow. I am assuming it will be patched in the near future and all the people that can only cheese with either quit playing or learn how to do it, just like using the relic at atheon.

Some people, after doing the same thing over, and over, and over again, want to change things up, so they find new ways to do that same thing. For many this is no different. I have no idea why people bitch about this so much, this has literally zero impact on any of you. To those of us who do not give a shit about how others play, you guys are more annoying.

You cheese because you know how broken the content is. What does it say of a developer who's pride was the vault of glass and it got embarassed, exploited to no end and they didn't learn a single thing and the next raid they release was even more riddled with exploits.

900 hours in. Cant find enough legit groups to play with. And majority rules. Sooooooo. Id rather just do it legit on my main and cheese my other two toons. Unless i win the lottary and do one with people who know what to do. Which is rare. Id say 90% dont understand the bridge mechanics at all

Crota's raid is void of any immersive or interesting gameplay. Unlike VOG's dynamic, imaginative style...that's why.
