Justify cheesing crota.
If you cheese crota, here are my assumptions of you.
1. It's too hard for you.
2. You're lazy.
3. You have never learned to do it the right way.
4. You think there's no problem with it.
5. You think it's cool.
6. You think it's bungie's fault.
7. You did it once and think bungie owes you a level 32 character.
8. "I don't have time" when you've played 700+ hours.
When the hard raid comes out and you're walking around clueless, I will laugh in your face and boot anyone who asks how to kill crota legit.
Edit: seems like everyone claims they can't find 5 other people. Not a valid reason. My friend did it solo and I did it with only one other person in 3 minutes. So try something else.
Edit 2: So, it comes down to this. People either agree with me or they hate me because they can't do it legit. I love these people! Haha.

I don't have a raid group so I depend on the forums or the occasional invite from a psn friend (who are all from the forums or a friend of someone from the forum). I'd rather do it legit but I just go with what the group decides. Over the last couple of weeks I'm finding the forums less and less reliable so I'm not really in a position to be picky. It is infinitely more fun legit though.

We couldnt get the timing down with his shield and kept running into enrage mode. So we looked up youtube, for a better strategy. First 15 videos were how to cheese. After like 2 hours of trying legit we finally decided to "cheese" and still couldnt do it since we were all 30 or below. Not justifying anything. Just saying what happened. I have since beaten him legit and recently also solo'd the entire raid once i became a 32.

Usually not all my mates are on at the same time. Raid isn't usually as fun with randoms. So my friends that are on we usually just cheese It. But if we are all on we usually get it knocked out within 1-2 wipes. It's not hard at all.

Have been part of groups that have done it both ways... If either way is done right the first time, they both take pretty much exactly the same amount of time. And it's not like Crota is hard, just don't die.

1 ReplyI haven't cheesed Crota with anybody who hadn't done it legit (unless they lied but there's no need for them to). I enjoy doing raids legitimately but unfortunately cheeses are discovered. When they are I cheese them because, why the -blam!- not? Now let people play PvE the way they want to.

Killed him legit twice, cheesed once. I got to see the fight done right when we were all 30-31 and again on easy mode with all 31s and a 32 sword bearer. I'd like to do it on hard at least once. For the experience. After that, I couldn't care less either way.

Killed him legit and cheesed, I've gotten materials and nothing else more times then not. I don't wanna put the effort in to find a competent team just to get materials.

Also ive played over 800 hours, am a 32 myself, beta tester and desticle. Also beat it legitly earlier in the week for myself so i didn't feel any remorse for cheesing on someone elses behalf
