TRIBUTE TO RANDALL THE VANDAL
In my opinion randall the vandal is presently the one and only legend in destiny... Who is the speaker? Who is atheon? Who is crota? Who is the traveler?
...since he was nerfed he reached legendary status... I'd love him to be the predator he was hiding in a lvl 8 sheep.
He could decapitate aksor... He could annihilate valus tau'uc... Im convinced he would even kill crota and atheon... Without cheesing them and soloing ;)

First time I was lvl 12 ish. I was like what the fuuuuiiiiiiyyyyyyk. Went back later after 20+. Still took more then I expected.

i was wondering past some ships with my levl 25 hunter. I was new to the game and i was mesmerized by the sunset. Then i saw him, it was love at first sight. I did get mad when he proceeded to eat my Truth rockets.

1 ReplyI think I was level 24 when I first ran into Randall. I was searching for loot and I saw a yellow life bar with level 8 on it. I figured I'd take him out and enter the cave. I emptied a clip on him and barely moved his life bar. This made me angry so I spent the next 10 or 15 minutes killing him. After I killed him my hunter sat down next him and looked at the sky.

When the dust settled I saw that not only was he alive, but only lost a small amount of health. 3 more Gjallahorn shells and 3 golden gun shots finally brought him down. I stood next his body, kneeled down, and thanked him for an amazing duel.

3 RepliesNo, the captain on the moon that shows up in the first area during a public event. I have never actually seen him killed he always disappears before you can kill him.

On my run for spin metal me and my friend came across a group of fallen, we decided to take them down. We killed everyone but a yellow vandal. And I shot a truth rocket into him and my friend used his golden gun. Only brought down a quarter of his health. We battled for a long time and after we had expended all of our ammo he went down. Shocked at the strength of this guy we left. About a week later Randal appeared on the forums.

1 ReplyPublic Event farming and I see this guy battling this Vandal for quite a long time way off in the distance. I was much higher level than the other guardian, and pulled out my max Ice Breaker to try and show off for this lower level peon. I pumped round after round into that damn Vandal but the bastard wouldn't go down. Only later did I learn of the legend of Randall and knew exactly who it was.

People say he was nerfed and so he is not a god every time you meet him, but he still has his godly power once in a while. I recently used him twice in one run for the bounty. First time, no problem but the second time I ran out of primary ammo for my fully upgraded scout on my 31 warlock. Tough SOB.

Fun battle where I ended up putting him down while some bikes (can't remember their name) were shooting me in the back for the last 30 seconds. Killed the riders and pillaged as much of russia as I could before I got bored. Was a good day
