Badger CCL - Best Scout Rifle
Got it from Legendary engram, perks are "precision kills drastically increase reload speed" and "ADS increases effective Range". This thing has wonderfully balanced stats and reloads SO quickly. I haven't maxed it yet, but does anyone else have any personal experience or input with this rifle?

Firefly turns it into a Ferrari 458, but it is, I think, the highest impact scout rifle. Heck of a rifle. Those are some nice rolls you have there too.

I'll bet it is good. I wish I could get B line trauma with firefly. For now I'm"settling" with my saterienne rapier with explosive rounds. Pretty nice.

Mine has firefly and a stabilty perk. Its good but i dont use it very often since it fires a bit too slow.

Love the Impect it has and mine got luck in the chamber making 1 of the bullets in the clip stronger.

1 ReplyI got a Badger with firefly. Beast. What I don't understand is that when I heard all the stuff about Badger being awesome. I got one from Nightfall and compared into to my Proxima Centauri II pre-dlc scout rifle with firefly and it had basically the same exact stats. Don't know why people didn't love the Proxima Centauri II but are flocking to the Badger... I guess 331 attack?

bungie gave me one for Christmas. .it had armor piercing and firefly.. it's a faster shooting fatebringer and made me a scout lover lol..

I got two. I just started messing with it in crucible and it made people my bitch. I still love mida and Suros tho, but if I want to use an exotic in another slot this is my go to weapon

IMO, to be the best, scouts and hand cannons need to have either firefly or explosive rounds as one of, if not both, of its perks. Just my .02

My NiTC has firefly and explosive rounds. And with a 19 round mag, its a very good scout. Both of the Vanguard scouts are great. Edit: But if you get lucky like me on Hard Crota and get the Fang of Ir Yut you will be switching back and forth. The Fang is a wonderfully balanced weapon.
