Badger CCL - Best Scout Rifle
Got it from Legendary engram, perks are "precision kills drastically increase reload speed" and "ADS increases effective Range". This thing has wonderfully balanced stats and reloads SO quickly. I haven't maxed it yet, but does anyone else have any personal experience or input with this rifle?

I was using Another NITC which is a fantastically balanced gun. I had a ton of Vanguard marks and was looking at getting the Badger when Crypt Dweller (dark orbit SR) dropped. That thing is incredible. It's got a small mag but just wrecks. It's replaced Another NITC for me. From what I've heard about the Badger it is great and I hope to give it a go at some point. I'm still hoping for a good RNG drop to get it :)

4 RepliesI got one with Rodeo, Explosive Rounds, and Firefly. See a lot of other folks on here with Explosive and Firefly, as well. I've found that this combo really isn't as great as it sounds as the Firefly doesn't engage nearly as often as when I choose Armor Piercing instead of Explosive. Anyone else encounter this?

another nitc with firefly and increased stability when dealing damage. i like this better than my badger because the firing rate is slightly faster

I have a NITC with zen moment and firefly, also has AP rounds and send it, which maxes the range if I use it instead. I have been using the fang a lot though lately, but no way I'd give up my NITC.

Love mine Has outlaw and firefly Reloads are so fast its crazy Also have the rapier same perks but i use the high cal rounds instead of the extra fast reload

I like my another nitc but am saving up for the badger. I honestly don't know why people fuss over firefly so much lol. My nitc has it and I'd trade it for several other perks. Also has explosive rounds but I opt for armor piercing

I have primarily leveled it for the crota fight when we were still killing boomers on occasion ;) But i tried it in pvp and it works well with a sniper (i use p&t so my radars stays active all the time). Edit: i did not level the fang yet

Yeah man, mine has "Precision kills increase reload time" and "Precision kills cause enemies to explode" so it's a scout rifle version of my Fatebringer and I love it.
