does anyone know how to fix ruin wings?
My heavy ammo barely drops at all, only the other perk works. (More heavy ammo when picked up.)
Edit: Yes, I have the upgrade.

I find that if I kill a bunch of adds at the exact same time, with striker, grenade, or rocket, it seems they either all drop heavy or most do, not every time obviously but most of the time. Try out splash dmg in tight groups. Works great for me! Think it's a glitch.

Work fine for me lol when I'm wielding corrective measures or any heavy with surplus on it

When I use Ruin Wings i find that it doesn't necessarily drop more often but once one enemy drops a heavy ammo pack, usually 5 or 6 drop right after. This happens to me every 4-5 minutes.

3 RepliesIt raises the chance of heavy ammo. The CHANCE. It's never definite that you will get lots of ammo drops, there's just a higher CHANCE that you will. Just like the most recent cryptarch update, which increased the CHANCE to get legendaries in the postmaster packages. You still get blues in the package very often, because it was only the chance, of getting legendaries, that was increased. I run the Ruin Wings and, yeah, there are plenty of times when heavy drops seem to dry up, but in general I am getting a lot more heavy drops, overall, than when I don't use them, or use a different class. I did VoG for the first time since getting the upgrade this week, and i spent probably more than half of the raid using truth, so in my experience the ruin wings work fine and don't need any fixing.

3 RepliesEdited by Eshé: 12/21/2014 2:31:38 PMHave you upgraded it? Edit: I checked your gear and discovered that you haven't upgraded it. You need to upgrade your Ruin Wings up to the upgrade called Seeds of Ruin to get more heavy ammo. I bet you're 12.

3 RepliesIts not gonna drop heavy with every kill but its should be a lot more than normal. I noticed that you are more likely to get heavy from tougher enemies like a captain over a dregs. If that doesn't work talk to lizard squad they did it.

2 RepliesHeavy ammo only drops from primary and special weapon kills. You must switch back and forth.

Ive noticed this as well. Fighting crota and will kill tons of enemies and absolutely zero heavy ammo drops then sometimes it's like a random burst and 20 enemies each drop one then dry for a long time again

Trying making or playing on another class. You will definitely notice the difference in the amount of drops.
