Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

5 RepliesI was doing patrol on Mars earlier and I was getting lots of greens and blues. I tried to will a purple engram my way. I thought "Next few engrams is gonna be a purple heavy and it's gonna turn into my Gjallahorn, that's how I'm gonna get it". A few seconds later in the bottom left of my screen I see: xXSlayer231Xx found a legendary engram. True f*cking story.

My worst RNG moment was when I got the No Land Beyond, 9 strange coins, 6 strange coins, and 11 ascendant shards from the last 4 nightfalls I ran... :|

A lovely one day vanguard rep grind (starting from near 0) to replace my titans last blue, boots. Got the boots, next day did a strike and got legendary boots, then did the nightfall and got the exotic stand asides -,-

(Not mine.) Did the Nightfall, I died and got stuck in a platform. The other 2 complete it. I get Ruin Wings. They get 7-10 Ascendant Shards.

First Nightfall I did... Two others got exotics.. I got the exact same Legendary scout rifle.. I'd used during the damn strike....

Four times recieved only ascendant energy from leveling factions. Oh and getting the ridiculous SOS something AR twice in two weeks and the very low impact pulserifle from vanguard with useless perks from my only legendary engram drop some days ago.

Every time I didn't get the hawkmoon, icebreaker, gjallerhorn in the raid, nightfall, ROC.... Which is EVERY time as have none of those.

Ascendant energies from the nightfall...more than once Then last week I decided to help someone out on their first nightfall ever....they got hawkmoon and I got plan c 2.0...even tho I already had plan c 1.0

I ran nightfall 3 times this week and received three Another NiTC Scout Rifles. I also got one as my free gift at Post Master. So basically got another another another Another Another NiTC Scout Rifle. Mind you had two already lol.

Bought don't touch me from xur and also a glove engram and got the don't touch me and later that day I did a strike and gt a legendary glove engram and got the don't touch me and 2 days after I did the nightfall and got the don't touch me so yea
