Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Last week did nightfall I have all exotics but 6 I got obsinian mind and a skull fort helmet and then bought tlw from xur and 25 heavy ammo with 5 coins then yesterday after hotfix got vex no damage update and the vog helmet another atheons epilogue and another suros and another last word and all I got from crota with 2 warlocks was 40 radiant energies and the light of the abyss special weapon

Beat Atheon, got plan C, ran Nightgall, got plan C, Xûr comes, sells plan C, guess what ? He sold it the week after ! Guess what else ?!?! We had to upgrade our exotics. MORE DISPLEASURE.

Level 31 needing only 5 radiant shards for level 32, Tuesday rolls around (reset), so I'm confident that between my 2 warlocks I'll definitely get gear or shards along the way and I'll be a 32 very soon. Warlock 1 does the raid and gets..... ALL ENERGY and no gear. So I figure no worries I have warlock 2 for this very reason. Warlock 2 goes through the raid and ends up with 4/5 shards I need for level 32.... Thankfully I finished eris this week so I was able to convert some of that energy into shards.

Getting a jellyhorn from VoG normal and hard getting one from crota and another from the exotic chest on another character. I also got another two jellyhorns in 2 of my 3 nightfalls all in the same week across 3 characters. The annoying thing was that i already had 3 331 jellyhorns...

It's usually always in the ROC playlist. I play with two other people I know on a semi-regular basis, and I have seen them both get at least two exotics out of the strikes in the course of a few weeks. I on the other hand, usually get shit, even though I often get the most kills etc.

2 RepliesDid ROC strike, both teammates left very beginning, so I went solo(was valus strike) and did everything to the tank. One guy joined, and just went around killing things, often leaving me to keep up the strike progress. Third guy joins just as valus appears, and after we get him, total kills equal Me=78 Second guy=40 Third guy=14 Rewards Me= mote of light an rare helmet Second guy= legendary engram, rare helmet Third guy= GOD FRICKING HAWKMOON!!!! WWWWWTTTTTTHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

1 ReplyDoing some roc strikes last week and got 3-4 legendary engrams in 3 hours or so of playing. They all turned into motes or shards/energies..

Me and a friend did the nightfall a few months ago, he got Hawkmoon and I got the Universal Remote

This weeks nightfall gave me 36 ascendant energy, not that bad for the weapons i plan on maxing but then again i wish i had more weapons:(

Only thing I can think of is grinding strikes and getting the last word... And then Xur sold it hours later.
