Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

1 ReplyNeeded a level 31 chest piece for my warlock. Playing patrol a legendary engrams drops from a dreg and it's a legendary chest piece engrams. Take it to Rahool and get 2 ascendent energy....

I remember doing the VOG hoping to score a helmet and/or chest piece. What I got was the gauntlets and boots (which were the 2 items I didn't need.) This is far from being the worst though. Back a few months ago, I got my first legendary engram and was so happy and astonished by the engram. Unfortunately when I took it to the Cryptarc, it turned into a Rare crappy handcannon.

Did nightfall on all characters, 1st: legendary sniper (it sucked), 2nd: legendary engram (became energy), 3rd: legendary shotgun (it also sucked). Did crota 3 times today, nothing but energy from all drops including the 2 chest

Made a second warlock to up my chances for raid gear drops. Grinding all day to get to 20 so I could swap my gear over and run the raid. I run the raid today on my normal warlock and get all the drops I needed. So I basically deleted my Titan for no god damn reason and wasted 8 hours of my life. YAY

Today was my birthday, I thought I'd actually get lucky... Crota: 1: energy 2:another hunger of crota 3:shards Nightfall: 1:5 coins 2:11 shards 3:2 energy (legendary sniper) Time to power level some characters for another chance.

When the Crota raid first came out, I had to dismantle my beloved Thorn to get exotic shard for my Icebreaker to be upgraded from Xur. Then I found the first chest in raid and it was a Updated Icebreaker..... I was pissed.....

Getting four legendary engrams from leveling my Cryptarch, then decoding them into strange coins, motes of light, and a legendary hunter helmet... for my Warlock (i didn't have a Hunter at the time). Needless to say this was before the Cryptarch update. Also needless to say I was very... "irritated".
