Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

Did a nightfall before the dlc and the other 2 players 1 got the horn and the other got thunderlord and I got a purple hand cannon (I was using hawkmoon)

Finished the nightfall, got a legendary rocket launcher. Or when I did the sepkis prime nightfall I got 12 ascendant energies.

Went to go get the first chest in Crotas end with my friend (note: I had got this chest multiple times before with another friend and only got energy). It was his VERY FIRST time getting this chest. So we run in and I grab the chest first, I got energy again and a cloak that I already had! He gets the chest next and gets energy and the mother fûcking SUROS REGIME! I love playing destiny but after this encounter I was pissed off and nearly quit playing!

My friend has just gotten shards from killing Crota.... 6 times In a row and still going if he beats it on his other two characters. (And just shards btw nothing else at all

All of them. Anything I really wanted I had to buy for the most part. I normally RNG trinkets like Universal Remote or a comedian shotgun with 2x kills reduces grenade cool-down perks.

I'm in the hard Vault of Glass. First Atheon teleport the relic holder dies. I run down, grab the relic in time and we manage to kill all the oracles. Fast forward to the end. I've had the relic every single time, and we remaining 5 have done our jobs almost flawlessly. Atheon falls. I get shards and another Timebreaker. The guy who died in the beginning gets the Vex.

Last week nightfall, a random lvl 27 joined the nightfall at the boss, he died like a 100 times and literally did no dmg, at the end he got hard light and what do I get? 6 strange coins -. -. More stories coming soon, I guarantee it...

I was doing a roc strike A teammate leaves as we are all killing Omnigul He dissconnects messages me to INV him back so I did And he's not in the game yet he's flying over and we all get a legendary engram including him with 0 everything

Leveled up chryptarch and my vanguard at the same time got 2 legendaries that turned into materials from cryptarcj package and materials and commendation from vanguard.
