Your worst RNG moment?
Hey guys! I decided to start a thread and see what everyone's worst moment was when dealing with RNG?
[b]Mine:[/b] Spent half an hour farming glimmer that i needed to upgrade my Heart of the Praxic Fire to 2.0. Then broke down a Patience and Time to get an exotic shard, and i bought the upgrade. Then went and immediately did the nightfall, and what do you think my roll was at the end? Heart of the Praxic Fire 2.0..........

Edit: Looks like we've hit 1,000+ replies! I don't know if that's a good thing or a depressingly sad thing that we've all had such terrible luck. Lol either way, keep em comin' guys!
Edit: Wow! 2,000+ replies! Judging from the number of replies to my thread about your "best RNG moment," i'd say we all have more bad luck than good with this game. Lol

1 ReplyAnother time is when I finished the crota raid my second time and I didn't see exactly what it was but when I beat crota I got radiant energies and in the bottom left hand corner it said I got something highlighted in yellow so the first thing I though was "YES GJALLARHORN OR ICEBREAKER!" I go to look at what I got it was a universal remote 2.0

Getting a rare class item from a Legendary engram after the cryptarch patch. I don't complain about getting shards or energies so this is my worst one.

I'm yet to have a good RNG experience, so I would have to make a top 100 worst RNG experience list.

Went 27 and 6 this morning in the crucible and watched my team mate get gjallerhorn. Not the worst, just painful.

Someone else's worst would be when in VOG at the chest I pulled gjallarhorn while the other dude pulled truth....so close for him yet so far.

1 ReplyEdited by dragn555: 1/3/2015 7:17:58 PMIn destiny I didn't have a legendary engram/ legendary from an engram until i passed the 30 hour mark and the item was a class item for hunter when i played as a warlock In all the games i've played as a whole i'd have to say that FFXIV gave me the worst rng. Every now and then i go farm turn 4 for a week or so to get a bard chestpiece and to this day i do not have it. I have probably spent around a month and a half on it. I'm aware that it's way easier to just get poetic gear now but I NEED TO COMPLETE MY ARMOR SET DAMNIT!

moment ? try since before the DLC hit. i have not found an item worth mentioning beyond a leg AR or not a duplicate exotic since my VEX in late november. stupid reward system is becoming synonymous with the word Destiny

Nightfall I get 385 kills and get a legendary hand cannon I don't want My friend gets 4 kills and gets an exotic helmet. That's why I quit Destiny last time. Surprisingly I got on when I did.

This weeks nightfalls 12 shards 12 shards Saint 14 First off, I don't use shards, I have raid gear to level that needs radiant not ascendant! Give me freaking energies or a way to exchange damn it! Second, I just freaking paid 7500+ glimmer and an exotic shard to swap my saint 14 last weekend! And you give me the exact helmet I am currently wearing?!? WTF!
