YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

I have you all beat. Beat crota Tuesday and got only 2 shards as reward. Second week I beat crota on that character so no shader or emblem but feel like I should get a little more! Hope next week works out better.

Nightfall. One guy got Universal remote and insurmountable skull fort, the 2nd got Monte Carlo and Plan C, and I got F*CKING RED HAND

back when nexus was heroic I was playing and happened to get two legendary engrams. they both fell in the the beginning but hey we're next to the servitors so it took a while. I kill a servitors and go to pick up the engram. of course my best friend was host and he's got terrible connection so we lagged out. I got neither of the engrams. FML

Edited by XGN SVUxScopes: 12/20/2014 12:36:05 AMRoc strike grind.. averaging 120+ kills while my buddies get 30 or so cuz im more aggressive. They get legendary engrams and exotics left and right.. i get blue engrams and nothing else 20 chatterwhites.. 17 raid ships and 15 raid sparrows.

1 ReplyKill Atheon on hard and get 2 helmets for my warlock at the same time. I was stuck at 29 for months just to hit 30 the day before the DLC. Very next hard raid and this happens. Had to go buy another controller after that one.

I have nearly 200 kills in nightfall. My friend got online so I invited him near the end. He got 8 kills and gets... [spoiler]the mother blaming gjallahorn not even joking[/spoiler]

First nightfall after the DLC. 1st friend: dragons breath 2nd friend: starfire protocol Me: 7 shards I've had 6 coins drop from a nightfall before, but somebody else in that nightfall got 5 coins lol

1 ReplyRight after the DLC dropped i got super lucky with my titan, bought boots, nightfall gave me armentarium and was well on my way to 31 (this is two days after the DLC dropped). Then i leveled up my vangaurd and it gave me a vangaurd helmet and a mark. BOOM 3 days in i'm a 31 with an exotic. So i'm thinking i need to go buy a lottery ticket because my luck can't get any better. So i started playing on my hunter. Bought boots, same as the titan. by now i realized the prize from the xur urn, so i needed a helm and chest. Ended up getting the symbiote from the nightfall on this character (what luck?). so all i need is a chest!!! two level 31 characters in the first week, all luck. So i started grinding vanguard to get a mark. shockingly i got a legendary engram...that showed CHEST. all excited i decrypted my brand new 2 ascendant shards.... Next game i got ANOTHER legendary engram, THAT SHOWED CHEST, and i decrypted it....WARLOCK CHEST!!!! I DON'T HAVE A WARLOCK!!!!

Getting gear a already have in VOG. It keeps giving me pradeaths revenge, raid boots/gauntlets/chest, sparrow and shatter white. Like I don't need any of those! I just want red death, raid helmet for warlock and God of war!
