YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

Last iron banner, I was playing most ways through the entire week looking for Jolders hammer, I decide to play with friends an hour or two before IB ended, and to my surprise a friend of mine who did the WORST got it...and nobody ate dinner that night...

Taking my friend through the vog for his first time. I get nothing worth mentioning, he gets 2 pieces of raid armour and the universal remote. Still no vengeance for me.

Clearing vault of glass my first time and receiving nothing but ascendant shards throughout. Including upon defeating atheon.

I got 3 light/bewares from the nightfall. Same stats and perks. I'm not allowed to have icebreaker ever... Fml

By far... Beat crota as the swordbearer got 3 radiant energy and nothing else

My 2nd crota kill i got 2 radiant energy and thats it. 3rd kill i got the exact same drop as 1st one. Maybe rng will bless my 4th.

Today my high-level friend put up with me (a significantly lower-leveled and less-skilled player) and another random in the Nightfall. No one got anything good. I got a legendary pulse rifle that does like 90 damage. He got a legendary scout rifle he'd already received 3 TIMES. I felt awful for him.

Bought Truth from Xur. Entered VoG same day... opened chest after Templar fight... found Truth.

I had 200+ kills in the nightfall this week and got five Strange Coins. My two "team mates" had about 80 between them. One got Dragon's Breath and the other got No Land Beyond. Seems legit.

Me and my team beat atheon on hard. They walk away wth new ships, vex mytho, gjalla, voc, epilogue, & raid armor. I recieve 3 energy.

Got a purple primary engram from roc strike the other day, I really wanted a new legendary primary but the cryptarch decided that I needed no land beyond instead. I hate him so much.

Not so much bad as much as bad timing. While doing the pocket infinity bounty, I took a small break and played some pvp with my friend. He was working on the PI bounty too. I'm ranting about how rare+ fusion rifles aren't happening anywhere near as often. At the end of that pvp rumble game, I got Plan C..

One time I carried my buddy thru aetheon, at the end he didn't get anything, and no he hadn't done it before, it was his first ever raid lmfao...he was pretty upset

The one and only time I got to do VOG which started at the second from last checkpoint I got 7 shards I believe.

2 RepliesNo land beyond isn't a reward. It's more of a punishment. All you do is dismantle it and get some mats.
