YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

I only got energy from CE on my warlock. That was really depressing. Not even a weapon at Crota.

Doing hard mode VOG and this guy who couldn't stay alive at confluxes, oracles or gatekeepers gets all 3 of the legendary hard mode weapons...

A VOG hard run where I only got shards and energy, when we beat aethon I got the rocket launcher which I have 3 of and the ship

roc playlist one guy got exotic the other got a legendary engram and i just get 2 blues

Well it was when the dlc first came out. It was the best loot drop I have gotten that turned into the worst. Okay so I load up the dlc and go to Venus because I need the ghost for an exotic bounty so I can dismantle the gun later for a exotic shard. I open up my first loot chest and to my surprise I see a exotic piece of armor pop from this chest. I'm thinking this is awesome. Upgraded defense because of the dlc and now I'll be getting to level 31 even quicker. I level it up and use my only exotic shard I had been saving and guess what happens? The defense is the old defense, pre dlc.

6 RepliesOn Friday morning, completed Crota twice (2 Black hammers) and then rolled straight into VoG HM. I got Fatebringer, 3rd VoC, HezVeng and VexMytho plus the ship. Real gut wrenching! Lol :-) It was the best loot drop I've ever had.

Have three characters, and need shards (regular, not the new ones), so started running VoG. Two runs in and I had 4 shards and 20 energies (Atheon really wasn't being nice). Figured I'd wait and see if my luck improves on round 3.

did nightfall before DLC team got exotics i got 3 coins....we were in a party they shouted "I GOT----" and i replied " I got a rock" if anyone gets that one i will laugh.

Every time Xur gives me an exotic shard and Rahool gives me something for another class with it.

Charity run through crotas end, only drop I needed was crota. Got 2 shards... Really wasn't surprised though, first time cheesing him. [spoiler] cheesing him is boring...[/spoiler]

I decided that I hated my Warlock so I deleted him and rushed a new Hunter to 20. Didn't get a single Raid gear drop from Crota's End.

Same happened for me, did nexus strike was soloing right up until the end. 2 people joined at the last second, both had zero kills. I had 200+. I got a blue gauntlets and blue engram (class item) whilst one got a legendary ship and other got a legendary engram...

Finally got my Titan to level 27 last night, managed to talk two friends into carrying me through the nightfall. I kept getting obliterated but they were champs and pulled me through. Got 8 energy. I apologized to them repeatedly for wasting their time. Sadly I'll have to ask them to get me through heroic later.

Went back to the postmaster, open the vanguard packet...got a LDR 5001arc damage. FML! Crotas End: Radiant shards and energies....oh I love you RNGesus. You've never failed loving me back.

2 energy from first chest, 2 energy from lamps, 3 energy from bridge, 2 energy from second chest, and can anyone guess what I got from crota? Im gunna just save all these till im high enough with eris to exchange them.

3 of my last 5 Cryptach packages have been Legendary chest engrams. All 3 turned into 2 Ascendant Energy... What? How? Why?
