YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

I got nothing from the omnigul nightfall. It said I got a legendary fusion rifle but my special weapon slot was full. I checked the postmaster and there was nothing. Thanks obama.

This week player VoG hard. Beat it in 40 min. Got 18 ascendant shard (which i don't need for new raid gear) Atheon Epilogue which I had maxed. Timebreaker Sparrow One gut got Fatebringer which is what I wanted and Ghallajorn.

It was something like 2-4 shards for Atheon. Total punch to the nads. This was early when we were all learning the raid still.

I decided to buy g-horn after my poop, but xur was already gone. Worst drop ever.

1 Replykilled someone on nightfall. dropped purple engram. killed everybody. went to get engram. wasn't there. not in lost items either. in rage now. ask friend of it happened to him. played another match. he got legendary. I get legendary. lag out. in huge -blam!-ing rage now. start crucible. two people on my team get two blue engrams each. one kid gets hard light. in giant hellish rage now. play more. friend gets legendary primary engram. so do I. he gets suros. I get shards. I turn off my -blam!-ing Xbox and go cry. (this was all in one night)

1 ReplyI've done the vog four times now ( I think?) and i haven't gotten any weapons [spoiler]but I can't complain cuz I got 4/raid armor on my first and second runs, also got plan c from a chest so [/spoiler]

Since the DLC I have yet to get a legendary or exotic Engram, so since the 9th this run of bad luck is my worst experience

Resetting two characters this week to only get shards and energy off them, as well as coins from the nightfall. Like seriously, only shards for two whole raids???

I was so used to seeing all these awesome loot drops and high level engram drops with my lvl 31 Hunter....when I started another character the saddest drops where those common little white engrams. I forgot about them lol

Opening the Crotas end chest and getting my 7th last word. In the last two months I've gotten 16 exotics. 7 of them were tlw, 4 were P&T(I'm not including bounties). But I did get icebreaker 2.0 and SUROS 2.0 So there's that

Ever since the first engram/cryptarch patch my drops have been complete shit. Blues are always horrible, the purps I rarely see are never an item. I've also yet to see a purple engram drop since then. And I've gotten just a couple since that patch. So, all my drops are shitty thanks to that one very first engram/cyptarch patch. Before that I actually had some good luck.
