YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

40-3 in IB with more points than the entire enemy team, kid with a .34 kd gets G-Horn and I get nothing.

6 coins from nightfall last week, but not even mad, it made up for it with a pair of radiant dance machines this week.

1 ReplyI've gotten a legendary engram from the nightfall. That's right not a legendary weapon or coins but a random purple engram.

One week I did the weekly and found a purple engram then did nightfall and found another and rolled 2 more for rewards. Go to that a$$hole Rahool and what do I get? 8 damned energies. 8!!!!!!! I hope he gets hit by a car...

Last week I got 8 strange coins for the nightfall and this week 6. However, I did level my cryptarc right after this week's NF and received a purple heavy and two blues. The purple turned into Dragon's Breath and one of the blues into a legendary chestpiece for my hunter. So, worst drop followed by awesome drop.

On a vanguard tiger, I played the entire summoning pits alone and in the last minute or so 2 randoms got into the game. Both of the had zero kills and I had over 150. One of them got 2 legendary engrams and the other got Red Death. I got 2 blue lvl 16 pieces of armor.

This week's nightfalls... I've got 3 characters and ran then all Tuesday morning after work. What did I get u ask.... the same crap legendary shotgun 3 times void arc and solar versions -_-

Ran 3 nightfalls this week and didn't get a single thing worth mentioning while the other guys got exotics (one even got two exotics for one nightfall) but the worst was my last run. All I got was a legendary engram and it turned into 2 energies... The same reward I get for a public event from the -blam!-ing nightfall.

Went through the NF this week and the other two in my fire team got thunderlord 2.0 and radiant dance machines, I get 5 strange coins.

I have two; We did HM VoG for the 70th time because I really want the VM. We kill Atheon and 4 people out of 6 get one, the other guy didn't but has one in his bank and I get VoC. I get screwed all the time. Second story happened today. Did yet another ROC strike, praying one of these days I'll be graced with a Hawkmoon. Both guys leave me to the Nexus alone, so I go in solo figuring others will join soon enough. I get all the way to the boss and still all alone, as I kill the Nexus 2 guys join the strike. Good day for them I guess, but I get two blues already decrypted and one engram, blue. F RNG

Did nightfall. Only drop was a 300 attack legendary scout. I'm not complaining though, I have a lvl 32 geared titian and warlock and a hunter almost there. I'v been pretty lucky so I'm due for some bad drops. Thats the beauty of the law of averages. At some point most of you will go on badass loot drops one right after another. Hang in there.

I completed the nightfall last night on my hunter, and it gave me a heavy legendary engram. I go to the tower to see the legendary engram turn into shards. 2 shards for completing the nightfall way my reward...
