YOUR WORST LOOT DROP EXPERIENCE!
Seriously, what was the most gut-wrenching, soul-destroying post-game reward scenario you've been in?
Example:
[i]Today, I began a Roc Strike and the rest of my team left. It was the Winter's End strike, so I continued on solo.
I managed to get all the way to the Archon Priest, when two other Guardians joined me. I was happy, cuz I knew it would have been a grind otherwise. 3 minutes later, we kill him.
The reward screen comes up. One of them had 22 kills, and one had 9. I myself had 183 kills. AND WHAT DOES THE 9-ER GET? NO LAND BEYOND![/i]
What is your tale of woe? True story btw.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I didn't have plans to play with NLB, I just wanted it for my collection.
[b]EDIT 2[/b]: To all people who complain about having [i]multiple[/i] exotics, but not the one they want; two things: Get in line, and, Exotic Shards.
[b]EDIT 3[/b]: I bought NLB from Xur while he was here. Still a little miffed, but I feel better now.

He got NLB and you say that he got lucky? I would have apologized to the poor bastard.. Anyways. Did fresh HM Crota. Entire thing, only got energy and Word of Crota. Others in the match got an entire raid set, 1 Ghorn, 1 Remote, and one set of full raid weapons.

When I got a legendary Engram that turned into shards in a Nightfall while my friends got Gjallerhorn and Icebreaker.... *sobs

During a nightfall, one guy got his first gjallarhorn, the other the alpha lupi Titan chest, and I got 9 shards to add to the 86 I have already saved up...

Last 3 weeks of nightfall. Just poorly rolled Sahara class auto rifles and niche shotguns that don't perform as promised.

I was in the crucible and in one match someone got the gjallarhorn another got the icebreaker

Shit dude, my last month or so of raiding and nightfalls has mostly been ascendant materials from the nightfalls and Vault of Glass, and duplicate weapons and armor from Crota's End. I had a set of nightfalls last week I ran back to back to back, and finished with 30-something ascendant shards and 20-something ascendant energy.

Yesterday friend helped us do VoG hm on his first character. He died at the beginning anyway. Switched to his second at the end and got a Ghorn. Another friend also got praxic from a nightfall. He didn't even have a warlock it he did make one after that dropped

I'm on nine straight nightfalls of energy or shards. Haven't gotten a weapon just shards or energy oh and two legendary heavy engrams that hey turned into energy not even weapons just 2 energy
