Your opinion on that is besides the point completely. Millions of people have no other choice but to play just to be on the plasma, it is Bungies responsibility to cater to those people with a simple menu option.

CRT screens are obsolete too and they're not HD. Should Microsoft and Sony start incorporating scart sockets on their next generation consoles to cater for these too?

CRT screens account for a few hundred gamers. Plasmas account for 30%.
