What game mode does Destiny need?
I'm thinking survival/wave mode with bosses at certain levels.
Or maybe a defence/attack mode where one attacks the tower and the other defends vice versa.
Ideas?
Edit: the most mentioned ideas will be out into a poll later and hopefully bungie will see it

I don't think bungie would be too happy with a wave mode because then everyone would be doing wave mode to loot for engrams and we all know by now that bungie hates for us to have engrams or looting for them.

Cruicible maps survival mode with thralls and exploding guys coming in constant waves, every 7 rounds or so random knights, wizards & ogres show up. Using only your own weapons no drops besides ammo enemies are same level as strike playlist 18,20,22,24 & 26 why not

King of the hill but the hill is the sword of crota, kind of like juggernaut from halo, that would be so fun.

Invasion from reach. Even if you only play the offense side against enemy AI. PvP does need another game mode as well

Crucible sword fights. Or relic fights.

I'd love a capture the flag mode in the Crucible, but I dream of an infection mode.

1 ReplyEdited by thtguyericcc: 11/8/2014 9:49:49 AMinfection with a twist. 12 players .. one person starts as a cursed thrall and can eat bullets like a sponge causing guardians to have to work together to kill them if u can get close enough to a guardian to press LB+RB or (L1+R1) u explode infecting another and adding a 2nd cursed thrall so on so forth. the twist is that its almost like control where you have to capture control points until they cap out at 50 points and then the destination moves therfore guardians need to move leaving openings for infected to strike . objective is 500 points. all guardians left standing win

That one halo reach game mode called invasion. Man I loved that game mode. Played nothing but invasion 24/7.

An in-depth Horde/Firefight mode.

Also, pretty much any game type from the halo series... The biggest being Odd Ball, but instead of the ball, you get the sword of Crota!

big team battle swat no supers playlist an actual territories playlist ranked playlist where everyone uses the same weapons ranked playlist in general shotty snipers basically they need to add every single playlist ever thought of that wasn't just team death match. seriously wtf is your issue bungie? "someone wanted to focus on pve while activision wanted pvp" IDGAF!! stop working on destiny 2 and pull that 500 million back out of your ass.

A pvp mode with computer enemies. for example: a tdm match on a earth map, you still need to kill the other team to win but there are adds everywhere

A PVP game where we can play as alien races fighting other players playing as guardians. Like L4D.

An infection playlist where the infected are thralls. A relic playlist like oddball but a relic shield or sword of Crota as the ball. Grifball styled game type. Horde mode. Capture the flag. Custom games/forge

Any mode that doesn't involve bullet sponges or putting your Dink in a control panel to unlock a door.

Just Think ODST and not Reach...) Personal Playlists For Strike/PVP modes. 6 man patrols. We can have 12 people on the map.... why can't 5 of them be in my fireteam? Throw in another strike playlist level between tiger and nightfall. Assault modes/maps (Think Old PC Unreal Tournament) Kill the man with the Dinkebot.
