I agree. Yes you have the guaranteed drops at the end but here you have a chance at more. I kill everything on my path to the end because i'm either lvling a new gun or gear , trying to lvl a subclass or to just do the strike how it was meant to be done and when I do anyone of those things i'm getting a chance at a green or higher engram of dropping. My first purple was from a strike , off a mob I decided not to skip.
