3 RepliesI have to wait for all mine to go to bed, however my partner has her own copy of the game so we play together. That's my recommendation to any guy out there. For Christmas buy your gf/wife and xbox one and a copy of the game and tell her it's like going on a date to the moon. If she does not like it, at least you have tried.

Oh and my daughter LOVES Frozen.....ugh....I have seen that movie about 5 dozen times. At this point I am having dreams about strangling Olaf....

I am lucky here because my wife & son plays games so if anything they would say "come play day Z with us" an I would counter with umm... maybe later im 1 strange coin away. :)

1 ReplyI am in your boat buddy... my solution was, i picked up a cheap pc monitor with an HDMI hook up and play on that... the sound sucks and the screen is (obviously) smaller, but i had over 30 strange coins last weekend (first time i found the vendor guy).

1 ReplyI am in the same situation. Although my wife understands that gaming for me is how I cope with stress so she doesn't rush me off and understands now that I can't pause destiny so I can't come see/do something for her at the drop of a hat.

1 ReplyI'm 43, 2 kids, full time job as a project manager.... my solution was to buy the kids their own system and TV so I can be left alone to play mine. Whats cool is that we play the same games now.... they are in their bedroom and I am in my Cave. My wife gives me crap about the amount of time I spend, but she understands that this is my hobby and is my only vice.... and that will never change... I've been playing games since I was a kid on a TI-99, and Colecovision console. Now those are really old school. I have lost some serious sleep time over the past two weeks playing this game but I have enjoyed every minute either playing solo or with the kids.
