Are Titans the weakest in the Crucible, or am I just worse than I think?
I've tried Crucible over and over. My friends tell me it's fun, and that you have to get use to it, but they're playing as Warlocks and Hunters. I'm constantly being wrecked by players, that are mostly Hunters and Warlocks. Even thinking about it, I don't really see that many Titans in the Crucible. The Titan abilities seem to only really work in defense, even the Striker Subclass. Is any other Titan just getting destroyed out there? I'm good at games like Halo and Battlefield, and I'll admit, I'm not great at Crucible, but this is out of control! Does anyone feel the same? Are Titans a weaker PvP class?

I can wreck some mean stuff on my Titan, but not as well as my Hunter. It really is about playstlye and a LOT of luck.

It's all about your play style. I can't stand Titan, I struggled as warlock. Hunter just fits my play style. I do like warlocks exotic that has spawn with grenade energy perk body. Titans can be really brutal. So can warlocks. Just try to find what suits you.

Probably because MOST Titans are so stupid they think they can run at you and punch you even though you survive and shoot them in the face with a shotgun. UNLESS it's shoulder charge, because if that's the case you're screwed

Titan is a beast. Lightning grenades are uberly awesome. Fist of Havoc is the perfect counter to bladedancers and self reviving warlock scum. If you go Defender rock Weapons of Light...if you have something like The Last Word equipped...booya.

5 RepliesDefense is equalized in Crucible. Regen and Agility are not. So your Titan's defense bonus is gone in Crucible.

Defenders can hold down a control point pretty well, and if you get in the middle of a fight with a striker, you can wreck quite a few people.

The Titan is REALLY dangerous, but the problem is that all the kills have to be up close. The Hunters and Warlocks have the advantage when it comes from killing you from a distance. I have my really good games and then I have some miserable games. I'm sure the map layout also has something to do with it. The more open the map is, the more of a disadvantage you'll be at.

I play as a Titan and have both amazing and the most aggravating games in the world playing pvp. I think it is just a matter of timing and how you play. I play as a striker and have found that running into a circle with three guys is only a good idea if you are supercharged. I have gotten killed mid supercharge plenty of times which is hard to understand. It ultimately comes down to your guns and game tactics. I do feel like the other classes' supers work better in most situations unless all the guys are grouped together for the fist of havoc. Plus it is PvP and some people are just insanely good at it so you will die no matter what so try and have fun or at least not to throw the controller across the room haha

USE YOUR PANIC BUTTON It's almost a guaranteed kill unless you missed with a FoH then you shouldn't be playing that class

I wrecked crucible with a level 2 titan. I think you just suck :/ or at least with titan

i play crucible with my warlock, my hunter and my titan. Each needs a specific built to be top in crucible. you just have to find your favorite drink ;)

I main a titan. It's harder, as a defender because your super does not mean atleast 1 free kill. However, I run two nades and around 3 mins in I make sure I have one to shut down hunters and locks. It's more support and hard work.

I am a 29 titan and I get a killstreak of 8-18 kills a game putting me on the top of the leader boards (I'm a defender)

Actually the hunter is my favorite but I feel like its a little weaker than the two. Especially the grenades. I laugh a little on the outside when I throw one thinking maybe It will kill the dude. And die a little on the inside knowing it won't. Haha

My titan is great in crucible you just need to adjust your play style to use what you have
