Which Gas Giant Would You Like To Visit?

Jupiter

59

Saturn

106

Uranus

50

Neptune

49

I know that in reality, you could never visit these planets because they are not solid, but if the Traveler somehow turned the Gas Giants into solids, which one would you travel too. And please, be mature when voting, don't just vote for Uranus just because it's called Uranus.

  • I voted Uranus. Imagine a whole plannet full of gay men. It would have to be renamed Heaven. Uranus say it Your- anus LOL In reality Uranus is a very much larger plannet then Earth. I think Uranus would be a great place to explore. The Traveler is God right. He would need to make Uranus breathable too. Don't forget that too.

Those planets do have moons. Titan is actually thought to be the closest thing in our solar system to be able to inhabit one day. Not now though since it's atmosphere is nitrogen and methane, and has hydrocarbon lakes. Europa on Jupiter is though to have a possibility of organic life in its ocean underneath it's surface. Enceladus has cryovolcanoes from the constant gravitational pull from Saturn an it's moons. I vote Saturn because of its moons.

    • Jupiter, I wonder how well we would move with its 2.5x gravity to whats on earth.

    • Neptune just because of the colors! No point thinking how the atmosphere would be as bungie would say the traveler made in habitable so they dont have to try

    • Jupiter. At 2.5 times Earths gravity, the teabags would be especially painful.

      •
don't just vote for Uranus just because it's called Uranus
too late. :) I wouldn't think that the traveler would even have to solid-ate (that a word?) the gas giants. I could see there being like enemies outposts or ships to fight on.

        •
but if the Traveler somehow turned the Gas Giants into solids
Pfft. That seems very far-fetched, even for Destiny's universe. Why not just have facilities suspended in the atmosphere of these gas giants instead? Like Threshold Gas Mine from Halo?

          • I'm just really hoping Europa is a location. Even if it's part of DLC. I think the moons would make for a much more interesting locations than the giants themselves.

            • When I was younger it blew my mind that a planet could not have a rocky surface... That and planets like Saturn and Jupiter are the size of many Earths. I'd assume there'll be floating outposts or just moon outposts for those planets.

            • Saturn. Has to be. I would like to see what Bungie's wizards could do to the view.

            • I picked Uranus because with the planet's unique conditions, I'd like it if the planet would be completely dark for a month and then sunny the next to represent its axis alignment and orbital rotation with one of it's poles spending half of its orbit in darkness, and the other half bright.

              • This was tough, I picked Saturn because it's always been my favorite planet, but Neptune would be very cool as well.

The next installments will have you venturing further and further from earth.
