any Titans planning on maining the Defender subclass, instead of the Striker?

Of course. The way I see myself being a Guardian is playing a Heavy Weapons Defender Class, able to lay down that Shieldwall, then have my Fire Team run through that to pick up the Weapons of Light Buff, and drop back if they have to. Not to mention the ability to generate shield through my Melee......is really nice. But I am also interested in that Flying AoE strike......

yes, very excited for it too. plenty of friends that want to play as warlock and hunter. but only 1 other guy wants to play titan, since its a support role , i have no problem supporting my friends. im all for it, i play to level that subclass up before the striker subclass

It'll be interesting to see if the Ward of Dawn is dome shaped or not. The icon for it looks like it might be. Could be some interesting group tactics coming along.

None of my friends are leaning toward Titan so I will definitely be playing that class and I think Defender is going to be important for raids!

I will. Trying to figure if the orb of light drop build will work better than the stronger, longer shields build. But definitely defender. I even glimpsed a helm somewhere that modified the ward of dawn with an ability it doesn't have from the class abilities, starless night I think, and it makes all enemies that walk through the ward of dawn blinded (like the flash bang grenade maybe). So I'll be trolling for those armor pieces but defo going defender
