Why do Warlocks hate Hunters?
So, I'm playing Destiny as a Warlock and I noticed that some of my gear had very 'anti-hunter' descriptions. One said something along the lines of Hunters not being able to shoot straight and other said Warlocks will never 'cede their position' to the Hunters. Anyone know why there's bad blood between the two, or if there's tension between all the classes, or did I just pick a class that happens to be really pissy?
EDIT: So there is some tension between each of the classes. The shit talk mainly goes on between the Warlocks and Huntards. The Huntards and Titans also have a few jabs at each other. Titans and Warlocks seem to get along.

Im a hunter my friend is a titan and our warlocks come and go from our fireteam. We use my friend as a meatwall while i stay back and go for the enemy snipers with my sniper. Bassicly what im saying is i respect all classes and we try to get all in our fireteam. Cuz dey all usefel to me as leader in diff ways.

But don't look like you're trying" Hunter gear: "Tell the Warlocks your cloak is frabjuous. They respect words they don't understand." Warlock gear: "Warlocks are expected to wear ceremonial robes. We cannot cede the *sartorial struggle to the Hunters." *Definition of sartorial: of or relating to tailoring, clothes, or style of dress.

2 RepliesIt's probably just a parallel to the military thing, ie. Navy guys like to talk shit about the airforce, cost guard, navy seals, etc. And vice versa.

2 RepliesI assumed they get along just fine as you see their is a head Exo Hunter, Awoken Titan, & human Warlock all gathered around a table working together. I always assumed it was like a loving sibling rivalry or of the like.

There's also a quote on armor that says "Aphorisms to Upset Warlocks" in the descriptions on armor. I really don't know why though. I like to think Hunters don't believe in "magic"

2 RepliesAncient blood rivalry. Really it all started after an epic thumb war in ancient times and a true winner couldn't be determined. Quisax the hunter thought she won, Thungrop the warlock thought he won. Then they started spreading rumors and the whole thing just turned nasty.

3 RepliesIt's a joke. The hunter gear has descriptions bragging about looking cooler than warlocks and stuff like that. It's probably due to the nature of the classes. Think of warlocks as the knights of the magical round table and hunters as space cowboy vigilantes
