---So basically, since the game will be launching soon on PS4, I was looking to get an official-ish FFXIV b.net thread going here. Would like to try and organize all the b.net players into starting characters on the same server, doing some gaming, and maybe getting a Free Company going if enough people are up for it ([i]i.e. more than 2[/i] :P)
This is pretty much just a starter thread. I'll eventually edit it and include the list of servers for us to choose from etc., but for now just wanted to test the waters and see how many people on here plan on playing the game. Let me know if you're interested and feel free to post your preferred class/race/etc. Also please include your region, so I can figure out how the NA/EU/JP split is gonna look since that affects servers.
Since its cross play across PS3, PS4, and PC consider this an invitation for the unholy abomination that is Peasant-Master Race co-operative game time :D

Though I may just buy it for PS4 since I want more to play on it. Who knows? I'll try and keep you posted, and you guys please share some of your experiences with the game. I'm more focused on what type of raids and dungeons would be most fun.

Only played for the 30 day trial I got with the game. Managed to get up to 50 paladin & over 10 on mostly every other class & formed my own FC & maxed out my FCs rank. It was fun while it lasted sadly Im too cheap to pay a monthly sub. Wanted to try the new updates but oh well. I might give it a try again if they ever put in the Gold saucer in the game.

Gonna try ACN when the full game launches so I can maybe be a healer, but I'm worried about healing without M/KB. I was having trouble with the DS4 controls Also: Server is Cactaur. I want to make sure I end up on a popular server though.

I beta tested this game and it was so much fun (I wish ESO was as fun as it was) and I would definitely get it if it went free-to-play. I really want them to add great swords/longswords though.

4 RepliesI was tempted to buy this. Would be the only game (so far) that I would fire up my PS4 for. Ended up going with TESO for PC instead... But the game does look amazing, and from the media I've seen, they've fixed a lot of what made the other FF MMO's not so popular. Definitely looking forward to seeing what some of the rest of the community's experiences are like on the PS4.

Yeah, I plan on playing it. Probably a caster class, or some type of melee if casting proves to be too wonkey. I tried casting in beta and it was.....different.
