Halo 5 confirmed for 2014 launch (for realzies)

So, obviously we've known about A Halo game since E3 this past year, but NOW they're confirming it to be Halo 5.
There's plenty reason to doubt the 'awesome sauce' of the game, because 343i did a pretty terribad job with Halo 4 (IMO).

Microsoft would make tons of money, 343i would have more development time, and we would all enjoy a true 1080p Halo game like Halo 2. Everyone wins.

4 RepliesWhy don't they add another year of development to really polish it up? Maybe an extra year under their belt can help draw out more of the XB1's potential. Honestly, with such a short development time and with what we've seen from Halo 4.... don't expect anything groundbreaking or revolutionary. My prediction is a slightly above average sci-fi shooter that you'll grow bored with after 4 months. This is a fate that Halo does not deserve. They should stop making Halo games, and do the series justice by continuing it with a book series that is preferably written by Eric Nylund.

Ehh,I wouldn't say its Halo 5 Probably just another installment in the Halo series, Like Halo wars or ODST Despite being a Halo fan,I too am worried at the possibility that if this is Halo 5 then the short time its being produced.I would have thought they would wait two-three years before making the official Halo 5. 343 did a pretty good job considering they were a brand new company and had to take a AAA title off a big name developers hands.Those are some pretty big shoes to fill,I doubt any other developer could have done as well as they did,any New developers at least.

Halo community is a shell of it's self but I'm just interested to see if they can make it worse than Halo 4 if so they have some real skill to produce quality garbage.

Probably wont be better than H2, H3, or reach and with out a doubt won't have a better story than ODST. I wanna see gameplay before I go deciding on if I want it or not.
