Destiny is a rip off.
At least Halo was [i]original[/i]. Destiny is literally just a combination of every single big name game out there right now. It literally Elder scrolls: Halo black ops shadow fall start of the wolfenstein and every game I havnt mentioned.
But in all seriousness, it really is just a mix of everything already out there and that's a huge disappointment.

1 ReplyNobody claimed it WAS original. It's very hard to make a game that is truly original anymore without having the major risk of failing. That's why game developers choose to take aspects from games that they know people love and build a new experience around it. Its common sense.. It will still be a great game regardless.

Halo was a combination of Tribes and Unreal Tournament, with several lore aspects ripped directly out of Ring World, Alien, and Predator. What Destiny is doing, however, is bringing a ton of features out of RPGs and MMOs that have NEVER BEEN TRIED in a Shooter before, making it the first in it's genre to be the game it's going to be. It's originality comes in it's uniqueness in blending these features, filling an empty space between the Shooter, and MMO genres that's never been filled.
