Destiny is a rip off.
At least Halo was [i]original[/i]. Destiny is literally just a combination of every single big name game out there right now. It literally Elder scrolls: Halo black ops shadow fall start of the wolfenstein and every game I havnt mentioned.
But in all seriousness, it really is just a mix of everything already out there and that's a huge disappointment.

That's what developers are doing now days. Find the best ideas that work/sell and put them together. Like Gears of War took RE4 camera + the Killzone cover system + Halo action + Unreal gore + DDR button mashing + fun guns.

i dont see how it is a rip off actually. anyone else agree? such as: it has an original story line. i dont know of any other game that has a giant sphere above a city protecting it, the last city, and has had a spherical being terraform planets. name a game that has all of what i had just mentioned. please, crush my dreams, if you can, im begging more that a poor orphan wanting bread, thats how bad im wanting you to tell me a game that has all of the above.

Gaming in General has become a melting pot that has been stirred to the point of slush. We have reached the end of age it's time to admit this. 2 RepliesYou could argue that Halo has elements based off Ringworld. Every game copies something from another game. Copying is a form of flattery, because it means that your thing is something great. Destiny may take elements from other series, but the story itself will be original.
