HALO 5 is copying Destiny!
Wow, 343 is retarded, and unoriginal. The trailer shows Master Chief in a cloak/cape.
Why the hell would Chief, in a SPARTAN suit, need a cape? His suit can't protect him from the wind and sand? LOL
This is 343 just trying to be "epic", and they're failing miserably.
The worst part is, given how Destiny has a ton of capes as well, this is just gonna have people confuse the two series, and they're gonna say Destiny is a rip off of Halo.

While I also found that the cloak looked out of place on top of Master Chief's armor, I don't think that his shield would stop the erosion from sand.. it only stops high velocity projectiles.

And technically the hunters wear hoods and capes. While in the halo 5 trailer master chief was wearing a parka.

Ok, first of all no. I think most intelligent people can see the deference between destiny and halo seeing as how they are a completely different style of shooter. Secondly I don't think halo 5 will be a ripoff of a game that's never come out before. Thirdly 343 wouldn't say destiny is ripping off halo because anybody with trace amounts of brain cells could see how it doesn't. So take a chill pill. It's all going to run smoothly. If you don't want to play halo 5, then don't. No one said you have too.

You know nothing of Halo 5 yet. Obviously there is a story-driven reason why chief is wearing a cloak. They are not "copying destiny".

Should I be surprised that you didn't say Halo 5 is copying Destiny because they're both video games? Or because they both have guns in them? Or because you can play a character in both of them? I honestly when I first watched the trailer thought it was a Star Wars game trailer. Then I saw Chiefs visor come out from under the hood and very audibly shouted " WOWWWWW"

Take solace in that and move on. 343i ripping off Bungie, or at the very least, playing themselves off as the muse for Destiny on some level..... you can take off the tinfoil hat. No one of worth (reporters/magazines/bloggers/content creators) honestly believes 343i is nipping at Bungie's heels. Far from it, 343i has a lot of catch-up to do.

I usually jump on the 343 hate train. But you're reaching there. If anything I thought they were ripping off Dune more than Destiny. Oh so would have loved that trailer to have been a Dune game.
