Undiscovered Destiny Concept Art! Edit: TONS more!
So anyone who has bothered to trawl Bungie's artist's blogs might have already seen this, but for those who didn't have the time, feast your eyes!
Ships:

Also Jamie Jones calls this personal/Star Wars-esque work, however we know that Destiny was on Bungie's mind in 2009: http://s3.media.squarespace.com/production/609000/7077341/_nSbfUiYTxzc/SlYkooCtRiI/AAAAAAAAAno/S5MTrZPGvTM/s320/7-7-2009c.jpg

1 ReplyThey all look so cool!

1 ReplyHey come check out our pre-destiny clan!! Here's the link: http://vanguardians.enjin.com/home We welcome you with open arms! Please make sure to give a shout out to Corrosive Honor for getting you there! Chancellors names appear in red on the site so feel free to ask them any questions you may have!

1 ReplyI hate to be that guy but artists in game development (especially concept artists) often work on more than one project and do their own work too. Not all of this is Destiny until proven otherwise.
-
5 RepliesMost of the art on Artist's Blogs aren't for any particular game unless they label it as such. They aren't silly enough to release unreleased concept art.
-
That one with the horse is probably just concept for the fantasy version they were making. Cool pics though.
-
3 Replieswell... http://www.artpad.org/picture/street%20view%20div%20reachg.jpg?pictureId=5726637&asGalleryImage=true is a Guild Wars 2 sketch of Divinity's Reach... the ships would be nice if they look like the finals
-
1 ReplyI would love to have an environment where you ride a horse! Or any kind if alien equivalent. Think Red Dead.

Edited by hopla: 5/26/2013 8:01:22 PMThese are very fun to look at and think about their possible influences for the game but like Hylebos (as well as ODST Dutch, Pesky Moth, Tron, and Adept Invention) said these aren't actually Destiny concepts or they would be labeled so. Still, good work bringing these together for us to look at.
-
4 RepliesA bit off topic I know, but, was Halo 3: ODST originally going to be titled Halo 3: Recon?
-
3 RepliesI just pray to god that you can go to your ship in a hanger and press a button to open and a side doog slowly draws open and you walk up in your ship like a bad a**
-
1 ReplyI'm glad you found more but something tells me this isn't for Destiny. Even though it looks like the same art style it seems too... Idk
-
Very, very cool.
-
op have you seen this image?
-
1 ReplyEdited by Gay Snake: 5/25/2013 9:29:19 PMI can't wait for Destiny. Who wouldn't love to chase down and kill a dragon from their spaceship? One of those birds could be your ship, attacking that massive beast.
-
1 ReplyIn the first link, I would love to have that middle Spaceship. That thing is BAD ASS!
-
Keep in mind a lot of this stuff was just concept art made BEFORE Destiny was even a complete thought. That means that most of this stuff is completely non representational of what is in the game. the GDC pannel explained a lot of that weird medieval concept art.
-
whew, that second ship picture is really swag.
-
These are really cool! :)
-
Those look good. Nice job!
-
Wow !! Nice find mate. I see a new desktop wallpaper coming my way :D
-
It looks human to me
-
I give thumbs up tot he space ships. If we can have ships like that, I think I will be happy.
-
1 ReplyIt will be very interesting to see how much actually comes to life from all the awesome concept art we have seen so far. I feel I am going to spend more time looking at all the terrain and every corner of the worlds then actually fighting.
-
1 ReplyCaptivating ship designs.
-
2 RepliesDestiny could have been a steampunk StarWarsesque medieval high fantasy with a dash of L.A. Noir.
-
I actually found these a while ago, but believed them to be unrelated to Destiny. I figured they were just random drawings done by the same artists. I hope some of these concept pieces do indeed make it into the final game.
