How did you feel when you first heard about god?
At first I was like, 'I hate god". I dont know why, but that was literally the first thing I said. I always imagined him as a boy sitting alone in his dimmed room at his desk with the door closed (whos parents often had him go to sleep) writing ideas that he kept in his folders of everything. Then whenever I thought of him as a girl he was a tennis player.

My aunt bought me a "Children's Bible" with colorful stories and happy little illustrations; but when I learned that people took those stories as truth? I laughed at them in the same way some one would laugh at person with a belief in the tooth fairy or the Easter bunny.

1 ReplyIt was through a picture book of the Bible I think. If there's one thing I really hate my mother for, it's for influencing my thoughts on religion when I was a child. I vaguely remember that I thought that he was a good guy, because I was taught that. Teaching your child religion is one of the worst things a parent can do.

I don't really remember, like most I was introduced to the idea at a young age. I was indifferent and then curious, I guess.
